Common signs include squealing or grinding noises when braking, a pulsating brake pedal, longer stopping distances, the vehicle pulling to one side during braking, or a brake warning light on your dashboard. If you notice any of these symptoms, schedule an inspection immediately.

How often should brake pads be replaced?

Accepted Answer

Brake pad lifespan varies by driving habits, vehicle type, and pad material. Typically, brake pads last between 25,000 and 65,000 miles. European and performance vehicles with aggressive driving styles may need replacement sooner. We recommend inspections every 12,000–15,000 miles.

Accepted Answer

Most manufacturers recommend transmission fluid changes every 30,000 to 60,000 miles, though some modern vehicles have 'lifetime' fluid that should still be serviced around 80,000–100,000 miles. We follow manufacturer-specific intervals for each vehicle.

Question 24

What are signs of transmission problems?

Accepted Answer

Warning signs include delayed or harsh shifting, slipping gears, grinding or shaking during gear changes, transmission fluid leaks (red or brown fluid under the car), a burning smell, or a transmission warning light. Early diagnosis can prevent expensive repairs.

Question 26

How do I know if my suspension needs repair?
